Forespar Marelon Engine Flush Seacock 1″ with Thru-Hull

Inboard engines with raw-water cooling that operate in salt or brackish water require flushing with fresh water after use to help reduce corrosion and protect the engine during winter or extended periods of storage. Forespar® has designed a simple single-valve system that makes this maintenance procedure quick and easy.

With the Marelon® Engine Flush Out Valve system, all it takes is a garden hose and the turn of a valve handle to circulate fresh water or antifreeze through the cooling system of the inboard engine. The “Y” valve is integrated into the U.L.-approved seacock, making engine flushing simple and convenient.

Regular flushing with fresh water helps extend the service life of the engine’s cooling system. The system allows for easy winterization and regular engine flushing without the need to change hoses, use pumps, or require any additional equipment.
