Barton Tufnol Block 45mm with Swivel

Tufnol blocks with a 45mm sheave are suitable for ropes up to 13mm in diameter.

The blocks are made from a phenolic resin laminate reinforced with cotton fabric, commonly known as Tufnol. This material combines high strength, durability and low weight. All blocks feature AISI 316 stainless steel bindings and brass bearings.

Tufnol is a multilayer material made from fabric laminates bonded with resin, which are heated and compressed to the required thickness. This process produces high-strength products capable of meeting the demanding performance and environmental requirements of sailing yachts, commercial applications and industrial users.

The Tufnol range combines stainless steel components and brass bearings, offering low weight and high strength. Barton has resumed manufacturing Tufnol blocks, returning to its traditional roots to meet the needs of classic and heritage vessels worldwide, as well as commercial and industrial users.
