LanoCote® is formulated around five key principles of protection: it displaces water, absorbs corrosion, forms a moisture barrier, penetrates hard-to-reach areas, and provides excellent lubricity. It also helps prevent galvanic corrosion caused by contact between dissimilar metals.

Highly effective in preventing and stopping corrosion on all types of metals, LanoCote® performs reliably in even the harshest environmental conditions. Specifically formulated to withstand saltwater and marine environments, it provides long-lasting protection for marine and industrial applications.

When applied during assembly, LanoCote® prevents thread seizure caused by corrosion and makes future disassembly significantly easier, even after years of service. A typical example is anchor shackles, which are regularly exposed to salt water.

LanoCote® also helps prevent galvanic corrosion where dissimilar metals are joined together, such as stainless steel fittings mounted on aluminum masts.
